Helligsø Brickyard

Farmer Jens Thomsen and Chr. Sindbjerg established the factory back in the late 1800’s.

Sindbjerg quickly disappears from the story with the Thomsen family remaining as the only owners of the business until 1906.

In 1906 the factory was bought by Mikkel Lund until 1908 when the business was bought by M. Kjeldsen.

In 1925 the business was bought by an investment company. In 1933 a partnership between Jacob Hestbech and Hans Hansen bought the factory but the Hestbech family pulled out shortly after.

The Hansen family is still the main shareholder of the factory.
